The most famous theatre in Moscow is the Bolshoi Theatre.

Moscow Metro

The first metro line in Moscow was opened in 1935 and contained 13 stations. Currently there are over 150 stations in the Moscow underground system and is rightly considered to be one of the most beautiful metro system in the world. Many stations are real palaces with marble columns, impressive girandoles, sculptures, mosaics, stained-glass windows and so on. However metro remains the city’s major means of public transportation.
