Popliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome

Abstract

In this study, a case with popliteal artery entrapment syndrome, has been presented. 28 years old male patient, had been complained on left calf pain for 15 days who applied our clinic with critical limb ischemia. At the time of admission, there was no flow in TPA and DPA according to his doppler ultrasonography results. Unilateral Type 1 Popliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome was diagnosed by clinical,radyological and arteriographic findings. Operation and ballon angiyoplasty was performed for the extremity. Symptoms and complaints diappeared postoperatively.
